Inventory Management
This is an ongoing team project which is ending in a couple of weeks. This tells a lot about my experience, especially with MySQL, JavaScript and jQuery. It's about creating a record that can keep track of sales, orders, customers and suppliers etc. by using a well-designed data model.
This project started off with a team selection. I had a team of five. I chose based on their strengths and we split the works based on the knowledge and skills we possessed, because this project required different programming languages to work. We mostly implemented HTML, Java Script, CSS, jQuery and MySQL. In this project I was mostly assigned to work with HTML and CSS.
We have three meeting phases for this project. The first phase was basically an introductory phase as well as displaying the first piece of the project we had started. I was the leading speaker for the first phase. I gave a brief description of what our team stands for and was able to instill in them reasons why we would do the best works for them. We had some feedbacks from the client, and he told us what he wanted to improve. In the second phase, there was a lot of changes. we were able to solve our problems with the functionality and gave it more CSS; like the background image that is displayed in the image above.
My team and I are currently in the third phase where we are able to keep track of customer orders. We are still working on it, but the image above is what we have covered so far.
